1. Greek extra-virgin olive oil (Two large-500 ml bottles)
Our gourmet olive oil is made from a single varietal Koroneiki olive,
which possesses excellent organoleptic qualities and is unsurpassed for
its exquisite taste and flavorful aroma. The olives are hand-picked,
cold-pressed, and bottled in the Valley of Sparta on the private family
estate of Dr. Peter Panagotacos, a San Francisco dermatologist. This
gourmet olive oil has won awards at the L.A. County Fair and the
Lakonia State Fair in Greece.
2. Greek organic wild oregano (1/2 oz)
Oregano grows wild in the hills of the national forest which surrounds the
Lykovouno estate, just south of Sparta. The oregano is hand-picked and
bagged by local villagers. It has a distinct flavorful aroma with a
hint of peppery taste.
3. Kalamata olives in Koroneiki olive oil (8 oz)
These popular olives are also grown on the Panagotacos estate. They are
cured using the popular brine method, then seasoned and packaged with a
bit of salt and oregano. Unlike other olives packaged in brine, our
olives are luxuriously packaged in our own Koroneiki olive oil,
imparting a distinctive mellow flavor, which makes it a unique product.
The olive oil bathing these tasty olives can also be used directly on
salads or bread.
4. Kalamata Greek olive paste ( 2.82oz)
Our gourmet olive paste is prepared using a traditional Greek family
recipe, which includes our own Kalamata olives, oregano, salt, pepper,
spices, and Koroneiki olive oil. By adding our Koroneiki extra-virgin
olive oil, we achieve a richer, mellower flavor, and better
spreadability of the olive paste. This also makes it a unique product.
